The Düsseldorf-based vinyl toy specialists at Toykio are setting up their tents in the well-reputed NRW Forum for a few months. The first TOYKIO x NRW Forum pop-up store will be home to a fine selection of vinyl toys, amongst them the DIY series from Munnyworld as well as art, with an emphasis on photography and street art. The store opening will be celebrated tonight with a live-customising session with some of the DIY toys.
Seven artists have been invited for the purpose, amongst them Flying Förtress and local heroes like Max Fiedler aka Mexer and the Majo Bros., whose monkeys can be seen embellishing some of Düsseldorf's façades. Your ears will also be well-catered for with DJ Rafik, who has won the DMC World Championships several times over. The event kicks off at 7.30pm. Be there or be square!
