Tomorrow night the Danish multi talent Henrik Vibskov comes to Cologne. You have read correctly: Cologne. Not London, Copenhagen, Berlin, but Cologne. In his luggage, the bustling fashion designer/artist/musician has 30 wooden objects, which he will exhibit in the gallery Ruttkowski68 in the Belgian Quarter.
The title ,Ruttkowski; 68 - Vibskovski; 72' refers to the birth year of the late namesake of the gallery Sven Ruttkowski (1968) and Vibskovs year (1972). In addition, the Söderberg prize winner celebrates the first decade of his career. Hence, ,Ruttkowski;68 - Vibskovski;72' also has a retrospective character.
So if anyone is wishing to see the "current most interesting design phenomenon of the Scandinavian fashion scene" (Ted Hesselborn) live, should get into the queue from 8 o’clock tomorrow night.
t the opening, the Berlin-Düsseldorf light artists of heilight * also reveal a stalactite-like light sculpture made up of 20,000 colorful clothespins. An absolute must!
