For the second time, tomorrow evening from 10pm, Cologne's façades will be transformed into cinema screens. As part of Cologne's 'Film nights', selected locations in the Cathedral City will serve as backdrops for video projections and improvised live music.
The tour, organised by the 'Designinstitut Köln', sets of at the Museum für angewandte Kunst (MAK) and passes through three further stations. Over a period of two hours, short video clips on the topic of neighbourhood and urban planning will be projected onto the walls of buildings. Musicians from the 'NOWist' ensemble will meet the challenge of spontaneously interacting with the projections as well as with their surroundings. Sometimes the performance will subtly blend in and sometimes it will create a contrast to the surroundings. Our tip of the day!
