“LookyLooky?!?!” Everyone is familiar with the luring call of the cunning street sellers used to entice all-inclusive tourist victims donning shorts and sunglasses to their trashy accessories stalls before financially fleecing them for all their worth.
We’re not sure why the Berlin shirt trio of the same name, which was established in 2006, has seemingly chosen to make these swindling merchants their role model – but what’s certain is that in the past five years they have amassed enough graphic-on-cotton adventures to fill a whole book. So that’s exactly what they did and the results will be presented tomorrow at the omnipresent Civilist store on Brunnenstrasse in the German capital. Kick-off is at 6 pm and the event will go on until 10 pm: in the four hours between you can enjoy art, tea and refreshments of the alcoholic variety.
