ReadingRoom-Opening-new

This afternoon from 5pm the 'Reading Room' in Potsdamer Strasse in West Berlin will be opening its doors for the first time. The first branch of the 'do you read me?!' magazine stores is a space for lectures, exhibitions, discussions and nascent ideas and projects.

Furnished with Scandinavian design classics by Artek, it's a great atmosphere for leafing through the wide range of magazines and other reading material. For the kick off, the Reading List Project 'what do you read?!' will be presented in its entirety for the first time. In 2010 the co-owners of the store, Mark Kiessling and Jessica Reitz, launched the project, asking inspiring personalities from the fields of art, culture and design this simple question. The resulting reading lists – ranging from art volumes to novels all the way to cookery books and magazines – are just as inspiring as they are revealing. Our top tip of the day!
