The New Fall Festival at the Robert Schumann concert hall in Düsseldorf got off to a fantastic start last night. The J’N’C team were in attendance and is still awestruck by the superb performances.
Scott Matthew, a great singer and songwriter from New York, praised the excellent acoustics. And during the performance by Icelandic wonderboy Ólafur Arnalds illuminated bubbles came down from the ceiling, reminding us of delicate snowflakes. A magical evening all round!
Until Sunday evening you will be able to see international stars like Gentleman, Junip, Nouvelle Vague and the Techno veterans from Plaid, not to mention insider tips like Edda Magnason, Agnes Obel and James Yuill.
