At the end of October the 'Modo Parcours', or 'Fashion Trail' as it is known in English, will be held in Brussels for the eleventh time. The three-day event has meanwhile become the city’s most important fashion happening, which brings together people from Brussels’ fashion industry, designers and fashionistas alike.
Meeting and info point is the Rits Café on Rue Antoine Dansaerstraat. From here you can make your way through the avant-garde neighbourhoods of Dansaert, St-Jacobs and Sablon to the installations of around 70 designers.
The list includes young talents, as well as renowned greats, who exhibit their designs either in their own boutiques or at unexpected locations. They often cooperate with other artists like sculptors, photographers, dancers or actors.
The event is organised by creative director Didier Vervaeren with support from the Brussels Capital Region and kicks off on 28.10. from 10am until 10pm. Visitors can look forward to performances, concerts and a whole lot of parties.
