This weekend retailers, workshops and ateliers in the old factory halls of the Liesegang Projektion in Düsseldorf-Unterbilk will be opening their doors to the public. And the list includes the ELA selected store, which is renowned for its progressive and avant-garde labels far beyond Düsseldorf’s borders.
On Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 7pm they won’t only be presenting their latest collections there, but also a live installation by Düsseldorf street-art artist BARTO. His expansive works made from paper, fabric and tapes are not to be missed. The exhibition opening is taking place on Saturday 26 November from 6-8pm and Ela will be serving up their homemade Portuguese mulled wine.
With his tasty Bratwurst master butcher Peter Inhoven will be ensuring that you don’t go hungry, not to mention the culinary delights from Greek delicatessen Simeion. We recommend you pay a visit to the following ateliers: bags by Babette Beckmann and ceramics by Ulrich Schmitz in House 5, as well as art by Hilli Hassemer and the advertising atelier of Peter Ripka (both in House 2). The perfect occasion to herald in the Advent period!
