Calling all cosmopolitans: the illustrator and graphic designer Vahram Muratyan, who has his own agency in Paris, has a charming way of conjuring a smile onto your face. His iconographies juxtaposing the looks and everyday phenomena of the tradition-conscious Paris and the future-fixated New York are now not only available as posters, but also in a book.
Sometimes he highlights parallels, like the global hipsters (who in Berlin-Mitte perhaps look slightly different – but the glasses and beard are the same!), and he sometimes pits the two cities against each other using opposites.
