Tomorrow evening the Swedish indie super label Whyred is celebrating the fifth issue of the New York independent magazine Laura at its Stockholm flagship store. Founded almost two years ago by the Swedish artist Johanna Heldebro and Canadian author and musician Jared Leon, in each issue the print mag portrays five inspiring people from the art and music scenes.
Making an appearance this time is concept artist and Turner Prize winner Gillian Wearing from London, sculptor Cajsa von Zeipel, the very hard-working musician Mark Sultan from Montreal (ex-member of the Spacehits, now BBQ), Kevin Boyer from Detroit and the guys from Crowpath.
The event will be kicking off at 7pm with a live performance by the Swedish kraut rockers from Audionom, followed by DJ tunes spun by Roland Hjort and Linda-Katarina Anderberg. Find out more here.
