Hamburg presents itself as a new hot spot in the design scene. Today, the three-day international design fair blickfang starts - for the first time in the Hanseatic city. Together with its exclusive partner, the car brand Mini, blickfang invites all style fans to the Deichtorhallen to discover the newest of the new in furniture, fashion, jewelry and accessories.
In addition to 100 national and international designers, 30 local newcomers will prove their talent. Under no circumstances you will see furniture of the peg at the fair - on the contrary: the curated sales exhibition mainly supports the individuality of artists, and this concept has been successful for 20 years.
After previous locations such as Zurich, Basel and Vienna, Hamburg establishes itself as an interactive platform for creative minds and design fans. In addition to lectures and roundtable discussions with important local designers, a wide variety of products offered. Another great thing about the show is the fact that visitors do not only have the opportunity to meet exhibiting artists in person, but can also buy products on site. True to the motto: „where design gets personal"! For the weekend, we recommend to make a trip to Hamburg.
