Today is second day of Modefabriek. What is your impression so far?
We had a good fair. On Sunday it is always busier. People stay the whole day and like to socialise a bit more. Monday is always a more professional day where the bigger shops and department stores come in. We are happy with the Modefabriek. We have already been at Modefabriek for many years and with different brands that we represent. This is our second time with Hamaki-Ho and we will definitely be here again next time.
What is special about Modefabriek?
It is the whole atmosphere. It is great that the booths are open. Nothing is inclosed and everybody just walks around and sees which collections are interesting. It is not like other international fairs where it is not allowed to go inside the stands. Orientation is so much easier here. It is also a bit more low-key, I guess, but with a lot of good brands and a very professional level. For us everybody who walks around is interesting, press as well as customers. it’s also nice that everything is focused on two days.

These two days are enough for Holland. We are not that big of a country (laughs). Therefor two days are busy and everybody enjoys it. Sometimes at internationals fairs that take four of five days you can always see that at the end people are getting tired. That kind of atmosphere does not exist here. The energy level at the Modefabriek is quite good.
