Silver bears are no longer just awarded at the Berlinale Film Festival. On 5 July at the BBB opening party Adidas was presented with an honorary prize for providing the inspiration for Bread & Butter ten years ago: a 3.6m tall silver-coloured Bread & Butter bear featuring a plaque with the words "I had a dream" and "Thank you".
Bread & Butter boss Karl-Heinz Müller dreamt up the idea of the contemporary tradeshow format for the urban streetwear market after attending a workshop at the sportswear legend's headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany over ten years ago and is living proof of the saying: "Don't dream your life, live your dream!"
