Groundwater contamination and inhumane working conditions on plantations. Those are only a few of the textile industry's negative attributes. And: they are increasingly becoming fervently discussed topics of conversation. So it seems only logical that Berlin, Germany's fashion-capital, steps up to the challenge to introduce a contemporary platform for the topic: the Ethical Fashion Show.
Green fashion is the buzzword. From 18 until 20 January lifestyle will combine with innovative trends, without ever losing sight of ecology and ethical issues. Quite to the contrary: the 28 exhibitors, amongst them labels like DeSans and Maronski, are propagating socially and environmentally responsible fashion as something that should go without saying. The Ethical Fashion Show is an event for fair trade street fashion and casual wear – and the concept puts it slap-bang in the middle of the fashion market. Or, to be exact: in Berlin-Mitte, in the E-Werk.
J’N’C hopes you enjoy the trade fair with the clear green conscience.
