Life is cool. that's the new take on shopping at Desigual. The Spanish fashion company, famous for its intensely coloured designs, has now taken the brand philosophy and applied it to its store concept.
A huge bazaar with antique furniture, art work, leather sofas and even an open fireplace – thanks to the impressive interior alone Desigual's customers will feel like the Queen of Sheba. They will be attended to and advised by a personal shopper. Each garment is only hung once per size in each shop. As soon as the customer has made their choice, the item will be ordered online and delivered within 48 hours, free of charge. The extravagant interior is intended as a backdrop for future art exhibits and Haute Couture shows in the store. The first "Desigual Oasis" can be found in the Calle Caspe in Barcelona. Covering an area of 800m² the label has risen to the challenge of combining art, fashion and technology.
Further showroom stores in other cities and countries are already in the planning stages – let's hope a German fashion centre will be included in the plans. We can't wait!
