Around four weeks have passed since the last Berlin Fashion Week in July. Since then we’ve had time to let everything sink in and work out which of the countless events, shows and parties we’ll still remember for a long time to come and are definitely worth mentioning.

We are presenting you with our list of the ultimate and completely subjective ‘best-of-Berlin Fashion Week’, even though we were, of course, unable to be everywhere. And we’re sure that there are bound to be one or two parties, shows or events that were even better, more spectacular and pioneering.

Best Party: Patrick Mohr “We want Mohr” in a shell of a building in Kreuzberg. Dark techno sounds from DJ Hell. Projections of the Patrick Mohr fashion show and the right mix of party-goers. Reminded us of the legendary parties in Berlin in the nineties.

Best Place to Cool Down: Hilfiger pool at Bread & Butter.

Best Location: Rear courtyard of the Mica Moca cultural centre in the Berlin district of Wedding. The perfect setting for the Danish label Wood Wood’s spring/summer collection that was inspired by southern Californian trips and features designs that are a mix between traveller, hippie, Indian and college style.

Best Lunch: G-Star Raw lunch in the Neptune Grill VIP area at Bread & Butter. 30 degrees in the shade, catering by Borchardt, and sharing our table was Bond girl and G-Star campaign face Gemma Arterton. What more could you want?
