Tomorrow evening the Düsseldorf district of Flingern will be rolling out the red carpet and inviting visitors to a pre-Christmas shopping spree and cultural events. One of the highlights is Cologne-based visual artist, illustrator and self-taught photographer André Kniekamp, who will be exhibiting his 'Strandfotografien' (beach photographs) at Langbrett, the specialist surf and skate store in the Ackerstr.113.

After three stores in Munich, Hannes Roether's label has finally arrived in Berlin! In mid-November the Freiburg-based designer will be opening two shops at one fell swoop: for women in Brunnenstrasse 6/7 and for men in Torstraße 109.

Already well established in North America and Great Britain, the US-American label Anthropologie is coming to Germany: however, initially only in its virtual form with a German language website and online shop.
