As we all know, photographs can be so much more than simply images. Pictures have an innate power, influencing public discourse and challenging you to reflect and react. The international forum for photography C/O Berlin is presenting the exhibition 'unheimlich vertraut - Bilder vom Terror' ('Incredibly familiar' images of terror) from 10. September to 4. December. The exhibition is taking place on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of 9/11, exploring the meaning of photography for our everyday visual culture through visual processing of various images of terror from the past decades.

In the streets around the Königsallee the stores taking part will have all kinds of special offers and limited editions for an unforgettable shopping experience. Via Detail Daily: A colossal oversized yellow rabbit is causing plenty of pause for thought at the Openart Biennial in Örebro in Sweden at the moment – raising questions about the nature of public spaces and their function. The artist, Florentijn Hofmann who lives in Rotterdam, has created the gigantic 13-metre-high installation – which scrutinises and highlights the scale of urban perspectives.
