Simple, beautiful and wearable. Last Saturday, 9. July, as part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Hien Le showed his second own collection – and was greeted with standing ovations from the fashion crowd. The men's and womenswear collection by the 31-year-old designer featured summery colour blocking in bright signal red, champagne, cornflower blue and warm yellow.
Nait Rosenfelder and Roey Vollmann, who live in Berlin, presented their Eva & Bernard collection for spring/summer 2012 on 7. July as part of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The models moved across the catwalk on white blocks reminiscent of islands, showing twelve very summery styles for the urban holiday look, exuding pure airiness from the colour palette down to the choice of materials. Three guest cooks are demonstrating their designer know-how in the ‘The Denim-Kitchen’ of the Turkish jeans label Mavi at the current Bread & Butter, and, together with the trade fair visitors, are developing the ultimate denim look. The artists Superblast and Anton Unai were invited along, as well as stylist and editor Linda Ehrl, to air their secret recipes and celebrate a new taste experience in jeans.
This evening at 7pm Anton Unai's solo show is opening at the Circle Culture-Galerie in Gipsstrasse 11, in Berlin-Mitte. The work by the busy Spanish action artist promises to be exciting, as always. After all, his artistic credo is: 1.spontaneity, 2. poetry in chaos and 3. rejection of academic approaches.

A colourful mix of trade fair visitors and residents stood on the streets until the late hours to celebrate the opening of the pop-up store of the southern Italian label Meltin'Pot.
Two Thirds , the streetwear label with a surfing background from San Sebastian, invited renowned street artists Emil Kozak , Kristian Hammerstad and Jolby to design a T-shirt series inspired by the blufin tuna.

In the ‘Blau' store in the Mulackstraße 23 you can not only bag garments from the current ‘Last Tango in Paris’ spring/summer collection, but you can also buy selected off season items by Isabel Marant, Eley Kishimoto and Cacharel amongst others.
