This summer a young employee from the Japanese sports fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger travelled to Kobe. At its place of origin he wanted to delve into the label’s history and vision. So Mutaurwa Mapondera interviewed five men who have been there right from the start and who work closely alongside founder Kihachiro Onitsuka.

US-American denim label Wrangler is currently raking in the prizes with its ‘Stunt’ campaign. A few weeks ago the denim label won two high-carat prizes in London for its motifs featuring real Hollywood stuntmen in action, doing stunts like jumping through smashing panes of glass. And now Wrangler was the only fashion brand to win the grand prix in the ‘Print’ category at Eurobest.

Back Label is a collection of loungewear made with passion. Designed by Amy Perricone, the range includes cosy trousers made from organic cotton, elegant cashmere cardigans and dresses made from milk or seaweed-derived cotton, which not only feels extremely soft on the skin, but also supplies it with additional nutrients.

Not many people go around wearing any old headphones these days. Music headsets have long since become an important accessory for audiophiles who want to stand out from the crowd. Most models are usually big and come in vibrant colours – the main thing is that they attract attention. At the beginning of December, Stockholm brand Molami presented a brand new generation of stylish headphones at the Cabinet store in Berlin.

When a new creative project is launched in Germany, there's usually just the one location: Soho House in Berlin – which is fine by me, being only two minutes away from my office. But instead, yesterday evening, for the German launch of the worldwide avant-garde art action Beck’s Green Box Project around 250 guests were invited to the RAW. A spectacular Augmented Reality work of art was presented by the artists' collective from Miami, FriendsWithYou, which is available to watch as of now on iPhone, iPad, Android and on the Beck’s Key App at the Brandenburg Gate.
