Art installation? Fashion happening? Theatre? We were waiting with bated breath to see what Annelie Augustin and Odely Teboul had come up with this time for the presentation of their A/W collection 2012/13. You could be pretty sure it wasn't going to be a run-of-the-mill catwalk show.

It stands to reason that labels will always try to present their new collections as spectacularly as possible during Fashion Week. The same goes for the skate label Vans, who really went all out with a big party for their own Fashion Week.

Marcel Ostertag started off the last day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2012 in Berlin on Saturday with the presentation of his shining, vibrant designs. The “Golden Muse” theme of his 2012/13 autumn/winter collection was very much evident on the catwalk: loosely draping blouses and slim-fit dresses and skirts in muted colours like blue and green underlined shimmering highlights and different patterns.

The five friends from A Kind of Guise have teamed up with Munich menswear store Harvest to bring out a smart laptop sleeve. Tsu - na - lu - gi (Cherokee for smoke signal) is the name of the sought-after item made from cognac-coloured perforated leather.

Calling all aesthetic fans – the film festival “A Shaded View On Fashion Film” is starting today in Barcelona under the auspices of fashion blog icon Diane Pernet. Noteworthy personalities from the worlds of film, art and fashion will gather here for four days, forming an international jury of critics, actors, curators, creative directors, designers and photographers to award the best short films.

Listen up denim fans! After receiving an origami book for Christmas, Brandon Svarc, the designer from Canadian denim label Naked & Famous, has been getting in on the folding action. So far his repertoire includes swans, horses, dogs and diverse human body parts. And what makes them so special is the fact that they’re all created using the finest selvedge denim.

For all those of you who can't be there live at the Michalsky StyleNite, from 8pm, J'N'C will be broadcasting a livestream of the show. This time three fashion shows are planned: for the first time, the traditional Munich-based label Roeckl will be presenting its autumn/winter collection together with boots specially designed for the show by Berlin-based shoe designer Ferdinand Tiffert. Afterward designer label C' est tout from Berlin will be showing their latest collection on the catwalk.
