This winter has only just begun and already we're starting to see the collections for 2012/2013. For their next autumn/winter lookbook, the Munich label Set has chosen Russian top model Anna Selezneva and male model Paraskevas, who has already modelled on the catwalk for John Galliano, Maison Martin Margiela and Roberto Cavalli. A very cool team indeed!

'Love your way' is the motto of 'The Brandery Winter 2012' trade fair, taking place from 27. until 29. January next year, on the grounds of the Fira de Barcelona. Just as with the last event in July, the trade fair is divided into two sections: the 'Trade Show' only for professional visitors and 'Brandtown' for fashion, music and art interested customers.

An old garage on the sophisticated Rue du Faubourg St Honoré is the current location of a concept store by the label Lyubov. The store was only supposed to be a summer project, but this has been extended due to its popularity!

It doesn't always have to be champagne! The new vodka bottle produced by Absolut in cooperation with Skogsberg&Smart is at least as celebratory! The Swedish design duo Magnus Skogsberg and Mimmi Smart already created the first Crystal Bottle in 2010 together with the famous Swedish vodka makers. Its successor is called Absolut Crystal Pinestripe.

For three days, starting tomorrow, the Düsseldorf Mavi store will be cooking up a storm as a denim workshop. Along the lines of the Turkish jeans brand’s motto: “We cook the perfect fit”, the Denim Kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils like benches, wooden spoons and scales, as well as everything you need to customise denim like sewing thread, scissors, tubes of paint and buttons.

Up to now we had always thought that having antlers on the walls in your house were more creepy than stylish. But designer Cassandra Smith from Milwaukee paints decorative antlers that you don't have to feel guilty about – as they are naturally shed by white -tailed deer and mule deer to then be collected by Cassandra.

This evening the group exhibition GIF.ME.BERLIN is showcasing a series of animated GIFs, out of their online context for once, at the .HBC Kino in Berlin. And if you were racking your brain to remember what we mean by GIF, here’s a reminder: GIF is the animated image web format from the pre-Flash era and works with individual images layered one on top of the other like a digital flip-book.
